Work that was completed

The Mount Gambier Prison project was a refurbishment to 54 cell blocks in one of the existing high security buildings. It involved the removal of redundant fixtures and pipework throughout the site. Once this stage was completed, all hot and cold pipework was replaced with new through ceiling space and service ducts as were sanitary fixtures in cells.

Goodeside’s scope of works

  • Removal of redundant fixtures
  • Cap water and waste pipes for works
  • In-ground drainage alterations to suit new fixtures
  • New hot and cold pipework through out
  • Thermostatic mixing valves to service ducts
  • Sanitary fixtures and tapware, including detention specified items
  • Testing and commissioning
